School tours are available by appointment. To make arrangements to meet with our Director and to take a tour of school while in session, please contact the schools front office at Pierce Country Day School.

Children who meet the following criteria are eligible for admission to The Pierce Country Day School regardless of race, creed, color, sex, national origin or religion.

• A child must be two (Toddler program), three (Nursery program) or four (Pre-K program) years of age prior to December 1st of the school year for which you are enrolling.
• Enrollment with transportation will be limited to those families living within our pre-designated geographical transportation boundaries. These boundaries include, but are not limited to the following public school districts: Roslyn, East Williston, Manhasset, Port Washington, Herricks, North Shore and Jericho.
• Families who reside outside of these areas are welcomed to enroll at Pierce and to provide their own private transportation to and from school each day.
• Children must be completely toilet trained prior to entering school. The exception to this rule is our two year old Terrific Toddler program.
• Classes are filled on a "first come…first served" basis according to date of enrollment. Class size and student to teacher ratios are strictly adhered to.
• Once classes are "full", a wait list will be formed to fill vacancies that may occur. If a vacancy occurs those on the wait list will be contacted first.
• A 10% deposit is required to process any enrollment.
• All families currently enrolled will be offered a "preferred registration period" at the beginning of each registration season as a courtesy.
• Pierce reserves the right to dismiss a student whose conduct or influence, in the opinion of the Director, is not in the best interest of the school.

2024/2025 School Year Sessions and Tuition

We offer five day per week programs for two, three and four year old children in the following sessions:

• Daily Hot Lunch, Daily Snack, Field Trips and Special Events Included. There are no hidden or additional costs to your child's education at Pierce!
• Bus Transportation for all ¾ Day and Full Day programs is also available for AM Only or PM Only for $1,250 less than the Transportation Included prices shown above
• A 10% deposit is due at time of enrollment. The balance will be paid in 9 monthly installments commencing on September 1st of the school year
• In the event of cancellation of enrollment prior to July 1st of the upcoming school year, a $500 processing fee will be retained. Cancellation after July 1st will be subject to forfeiture of deposit.
